30. 3.

So, it’s 2007.

How did that happen? This past year really flew by. So many things going on. With many entrances, exits, and a fair amount of improvisation whilst on stage, 2006 was a year to remember.

I turned 33 on Sunday. My Jesus Year. I think I still have a lot to accomplish with my life. Thankfully, I have several people to help me with that, most of whom are embarking on new and wonderful lives themselves.

My Christmas was good, if not exactly dry. Babs and I spent most of the holiday driving all over Louisiana, but we had a good time in spite of it, She got to meet Dad & K and Blondie and all of the Jo’T Clan who live among the swamps of the Pelican State.

I usually take off the last week of the year so I can spend time with the fam and get in a little detox from the stresses of the year. However, this year my vacation was not approved, so Babs and I had to cut our time off short. Grrrr.

Still, we made the most of the time we had.

New Years Eve and Day was spent with friends, enjoying each other’s company and relaxing as much as possible. Finally saw Casino Royale, and I can say that it’s the best Bond film I’ve seen. Daniel Craig brought a rugged flawed Bond to the role, and the franchise has never looked better.

I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday and I wish you all the best in this new year.

Oh, and Babs said yes. So I guess I’m engaged……

There are few who deserve it more. My heartfelt congratulations on your happy news.
